I just made a tumblr please help :)?

I want to have a tumblr were many people are fallowing me, but unfortunately none of my friends use tumblr only facebook. is there anyway i could get people to fallow me on tumblr and i could have people to talk to :) please help, if you have tumblr let me know :) thanks
