Now its my turn to be the outcast for once... HELP! Field trip advice...?

Ok so tomorrow I have a field trip with my math class and we are going to the city to a school for poor kids and out to lunch. I am pretty popular at my school and have a lot of friends... OUTSIDE of my math class. In my math class there are mostly boys who talk about sports and what not, and then there are the geeks. And by "geeks" I am not intending anything wrong with them, or putting them as a lower standard then myself, because they aren't... I just do not get along with them. This is a pretty social field trip and I am scared because I will have nobody to talk to, and I'm not used to that. Should I just try and hang with the geeks? I feel like they will think I am weird or awkward for fallowing them around... I am not used to this!!
