Parents opinion relationships for their own children?

You just have to set your foot down and not fall head over heels for him. You have to distinguish between him loving you and him just SAYING he loves you. There are things you can feel, and no parent should take love away or anything that could make your future even better. You can have a bf and go to school and get good grades, boys don't ruin anything. If we all have to hold boys at fault now, where will you get in life? Being 30, going still through a career and not married or anything. You have to live a little, and you have to have fun times, too. All work and no play is never good the same as all play and no work is. Your parents don't want you to go down a bad road, but the reality is them not trusting you can lead to bigger issues. I hope they learn to trust you, show interest in the guy, and possible meet him, because that's what teens need nowadays, a little trust and respect back.
